Dr. Marsha A. DanielsonDr. Marsha Danielson became the ninth president of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± on July 1, 2021. She sees the college as a vital resource in meeting the need for qualified employees in the region and believes that its students must graduate career-ready or prepared to succeed in a 4-year college or university environment.

Dr. Danielson came to Southeast with over 25 years of experience in higher education. From 2015-2021, she served South Central College in Mankato and Faribault as vice president of economic development. Previously, she was senior associate to the president and dean of economic development at South Central College. At Minnesota State University, Mankato she worked in development, alumni relations, external relations, and marketing and communications from 1996 to 2007.

Dr. Danielson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and a master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She holds a Doctorate in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University (MI).

Danielson has served as a racial justice facilitator since 2004. She is passionate about and volunteers her time for various diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and serves in volunteer leadership for the Trans-Atlantic Technology and Training Alliance (TA3), American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Commission on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity, Winona Chamber of Commerce, 7 Rivers Alliance, and NOCTI, a national organization that provides industry-based credentials for career and technical education programs.
