  • Explore Minnesota is a comprehensive tourism web site. It contains information about things to do in various regions of Minnesota. You can search for lodging, events and activities. They also have a trip planner that you can use to build an itinerary. You can save it, e-mail it to friends, or print it out.

Federal Websites


  • This site provides full text search capabilities which allow the user to search for documents created by various agencies of the federal government. Many documents are available in full text for download. The site also provides access to federal jobs.

  • This site is a gateway to statistics put out by over 100 federal agencies. You may choose to link by subject or by state. You can do a keyword search. The site also lists the agencies by subject and alphabetically.

  • The Federal Information Center provides information on federal agencies, programs and services. The site provides access to consumer information, tax information, social security information, workplace issues and more.

  • FirstGov is a portal to federal agencies across the country. It also contains information on the state level and access to Tribal and U.S. Territory information.

  • The Library of Congress is the library of libraries. The LOC web site displays exhibits and digital library collections. It provides access to information and research services and links to legislative, congressional and committee information. It also has a breakdown of information for specific groups of people, such as children and families, librarians, researchers etc.
